DUTIES:
  • Review and revise agency quality control plan, as needed.
  • Ensure that all programs are in compliance with their grant/contract requirements as deemed by their funding sources.
  • Conduct quarterly site visits of each program, focusing on different areas of quality assurance and contract compliance at each visit as per quality control plan, and note deficiencies and corrective actions needed.   Site visits will include physical inspection, staff and client interviews, record reviews, and ensuring that program activities match established protocols. 
  • .Meet with and provide written report of site visit findings to Regional Director, Program Supervisor/Manager, Deputy Director and/or Designee.
  • Follow-up at next quarterly visit, or sooner as appropriate, to ensure that corrective action has been taken. 
  • In conjunction with the Grants Manager and Accreditation Manager, ensure the consistent use of program data collection systems.  Participate in the development and implementation of additional measurement tools for the collection of outcome data, as needed, to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Participate in the analysis of data and make recommendations for program improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with established administrative policies and procedures, including contractual requirements.
  • Train program staff in agency Standard Operating Procedure Manual, quality control plan, contractual obligations and other areas as designated by the Deputy Director.
  • Review program Standard Operating Procedures Manual a minimum of once per year to ensure compliance with contracts.  Develop new/revised policies as needed.
  • Review and revise the NJAC staff development plan to incorporate all NJAC positions and programs .
  • Implement staff development plan through providing or arranging necessary training opportunities, within a designated budget.
  • Maintain an on-going record of all current employees that includes training attended and outstanding training needs. Ensure that agency staff are trained in program areas, and receive internal and external trainings throughout the year to meet agency training requirements.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings.
  • Prepare written reports as required.
  • Observe established administrative procedures.
  • Attend and participate in staff training opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Commitment to Association philosophy. Master’s Degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree plus three years experience in and knowledge of social service field. A candidate who has no degree but is exceptionally qualified will be considered, provided she/he has a combination of experience and education, with demonstrated administrative and evaluation experience. Experience in quality assurance activities and conducting training sessions preferred. Proficiency in written and verbal communication. Ability to interact appropriately with program staff, funding agencies, monitors, and outside trainers. Access to a currently registered car and valid driver’s license.
